Midland, TX - Margarita Almeida Carrasco, born on December 9, 1934, in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico, peacefully passed away on November 25, 2024. She was the dear daughter of Jose Almeida and Maria Eduvigis Sifuentes. A rosary service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral mass on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Margarita's love story with her husband, Sipriano Guevara Carrasco, began in Juarez, Mexico, and flourished into a beautiful 62-year marriage. Together, they raised three children and ran a successful business, Marios Spanish Inn. Margarita was known for her incredible sense of humor, her ability to make everyone smile, and her dedication to her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughter and cherished her weekly gatherings with friends, fondly known as "Margarita Thursdays."

A radiant light in her family's lives, Margarita's joy for life and devotion to her family and faith shaped her unforgettable presence. She leaves behind cherished memories for her daughter Linda Garcia and husband Chris, son Ralph Carrasco and wife Marguerite, daughter Vickie Kolodetsky and husband Bill, along with her loving grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Margarita will remember her infectious laughter and kind heart. She will be deeply missed.

Pallbearers for Margarita's service will be William Kolodetsky, Juan Alfred Garcia, Christopher Joe Garcia, and Roland Garcia. Arrangements are under the care of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Condolences may be shared at www.npwelch.com. Flowers or trees can be sent in memory of Margarita Almeida Carrasco through the Tribute Store.
