James Crawford Henderson, a prominent figure in the petroleum engineering industry, passed away, leaving behind a legacy that includes his work with Gulf Oil and his consulting engineering business. Henderson, who served in the United States Naval Reserve during the Korean War, was known for his love of hunting and fishing. He was also actively involved in various organizations, including the National Rifle Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Henderson is survived by his son, Curt Henderson, daughter-in-law Kim Pipkin Henderson, and three grandsons. The family expressed gratitude to his caregivers at Accent Healthcare and Heart to Heart Hospice.

A Memorial Service is scheduled to take place at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity in Midland, Texas on December 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Cremation arrangements were handled by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences can be made on their website.
