Hooey Lynn Rodriquez, a vibrant and adored presence in this world, peacefully departed to join the Lord on January 6, 2025, at the tender age of 10. Hooey graced the lives of his parents, Cory and Amber Rodriquez, with his arrival on April 25, 2014.

Known for his fervent allegiance to the Dallas Cowboys, mastery of Lego creations, and collections of Hot Wheels and remote-control cars, Hooey was a beacon of curiosity and intelligence. Recently accepted into the Lego Robotics Program at Scharbauer Elementary, he demonstrated a profound appreciation for learning, exploration, and building. His love for animals and outdoor adventures took him to skate parks, lake outings, and beyond, always exuding an exuberant spirit and zest for life. From his cherished moments by the waterside to his pursuits in sports and play, Hooey treasured every opportunity to engage and create lasting memories.

Deeply connected to his family, Hooey enriched their lives with his selflessness and loving nature. He shared special moments with each family member, including his Sunday ritual with Gigi and G-Daddy, culinary adventures with G-Daddy, and baking sessions with Rissa and Henry. He exhibited a kind and considerate nature, prioritizing the happiness of others over his own, a quality that shone brightly even on his own birthday, where he exhibited generosity towards his brother.

Music and dance brought special joy into Hooey's life, fostering beautiful moments with his mom. His dad, a role model and mentor, instilled valuable lessons of integrity and goodness in him. Hooey's infectious spirit and zest for life were sources of light and laughter, bringing joy and love to his family.

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, offering a treasury of cherished moments and boundless love received during his remarkable 10 years on Earth.

Hooey is now reunited in heaven with loved ones who have gone before him, including Mimi Melody Wallum, Darrell Doss, Ysidro M. Rodriquez, and cherished relatives. Left to honor his memory are his parents Cory and Amber, siblings Oaklee and Tinsley, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a host of family members and friends.
