Beatrice DeLeon Leal Remembered for Devotion to Faith and Family

Beatrice DeLeon Leal, born on February 27, 1941, in Chapman Ranch, Texas, to Brigido DeLeon Sr. and Juanita Silvas DeLeon, passed away recently in Midland, TX. She was united in marriage with Luis Leal on June 6, 1964, in Abilene, Texas, celebrating 53 years of partnership. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Laura Leal-Sichembe, and a grandson, Bryson Joseph Leal-Costilla.

Beatrice's faith and dedication as a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, left a lasting impact on all who knew her. In 1971, she and Luis relocated to Midland, founding Leal’s Cabinets of Midland, passing on their carpentry skills to many. Her commitment to her faith led her to a 38-year service in the full-time teaching ministry, spreading the teachings of the Bible and Jehovah God’s promises.

Survived by her daughter, Laura Leal-Sichembe (Ekupa), grandson Bryson Joseph Leal-Costilla (Daniela), brother Joe De Leon (Cyndie) of Cleburne, TX, sister Bernarda DeLeon Estes of Abilene, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Leal, parents, and four siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Midland, TX, officiated by Gabriel Garza of San Angelo, TX. For additional information or directions, please contact Manny at (432) 413-3305.
