Marilyn Land, aged 85, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who embraced Southern hospitality as her mother taught her. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and travel, nurturing friendships across her extensive travels. Marilyn is survived by her husband Clarke, children Paige Pitts and Christopher Bird, grandchildren Zach Pitts and Amber Boothe, great-grandsons Easton, Cannon, and Cooper, as well as other family members.

A service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, at 10:00 a.m. at the Parks-Faudree Family Chapel at Manor Park. Memorial donations can be made to Manor Park or a chosen charity in Marilyn's honor. Marilyn's memory will be honored at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
