Theodore "Ted" Francis Gawloski, an esteemed geologist known for his contributions to the field of petroleum geology, passed away at the age of 68 in Midland. Ted's career began with Amoco Corporation in Houston before he moved to Midland in 1984, where he continued his work in exploration geology. His dedication to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and peers.

Ted is survived by his wife, Joan Gawloski, and his two sons, Alex and Nick Gawloski. He is also survived by his brother, sister, and their families. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson.org in Ted's honor.
