Midland, Feb. 11, 2025 - Luisa Nieto, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on August 19, 1940, in Presidio, Texas, Luisa resided in Midland, Texas, where she worked in housekeeping for many years. She was known for her love of family and cherished moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her daughters Delila Valenzuela, Luisa Garza, Debbie Nieto Perez, Cindy Talamantes, Rosie Cox, son Jose Nieto, and sister Francis Villa, Luisa leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is preceded in death by her daughter Elida Garza, and siblings Valeriana Lopez and Carmen Longoria.

Viewing for Luisa will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel on February 13, 2025, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. The visitation will continue the next day, with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m., and burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the Hospice staff of Midland for their compassionate care of Luisa during her time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Venmo account set up by the family to contribute towards Luisa's headstone.

To honor Luisa Nieto's memory, floral tributes or tree plantings can be made through the Tribute Store, offering a lasting tribute to her life and legacy.
