Midland, TX - Cheryl Rae Quarella, 74, passed away on February 16, 2025, at her home after a brief illness. Born on January 12, 1951, in Wellsville, NY, Cheryl Quarella was known for her strength, resilience, and kindness, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and love.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Kevin Rychel (Misty) and Tiffany Lawson (Chris), along with her grandchildren, Hannah, Kevin Jr., and Hayden Rychel, and Kaitlin and Caleb Lawson. She is also survived by her brother, Ron Stonemetz; sisters, Norma Stonemetz and Mary Anne Davis Miller; cousins Chris and Snooky Swanner, Merle and Lea Richardson, and Betty Richardson; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding Cheryl in death were her husband, Russell Quarella; parents Matthew Davis and Blanche Richardson; sister Teresa Stonemetz; and half brother, Neil Miller Davis.

Cheryl dedicated her professional life to Midland Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2014. Her kindness and dedication touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.

Funeral services will be conducted by Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home in Midland. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Community Church, followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Cheryl's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
